Hrithik Roshan’s film means a tsunami of earnings at the box office, which will have a wealth of style and looks. There will be great dialogues and powerful action and Hrithik Roshan will also have a great dance. However, Hrithik Roshan has also appeared in historical movies like Jodhaa Akbar and has proved his acting prowess in historical characters as well. But there was another film which was a bit out of the box and its success was riding on the shoulders of Hrithik Roshan. The film failed miserably at the box office and could not even recover its cost.

This film was Mohenjo Daro. In which the civilization of that period was shown. The makers had done extensive research for this film. The film’s director Ashutosh Gowarikar spent three years meeting different architects, archaeologists and historians to obtain details of that period. After which he sat down to finalize the story of the film. Based on the gist of the entire research, the story reached 300 pages. These three hundred pages were sent to Hrithik Roshan for reading.
Hrithik Roshan himself has informed that he was taking a lot of time to read the 300 page script. After which, after condensing the story into 80 to 81 pages, the makers again sent the script to him, after reading which Hrithik agreed. However, the film could not last long at the box office. The situation was such that the film which cost Rs 115 crore to make. Only Rs 108 crore was spent. Was successful in collecting only Rs. Hrithik Roshan’s fee for this film is said to be Rs 68 crore.
