This weekend we will review the film Aankh Michauli. The length of this comedy drama genre film is one hour 44 minutes. Dainik Bhaskar has given the film a two star rating out of 5.

What is the story of the film?
The film Aankh Micholi is the story of a strange family of Hoshiarpur whose almost all the members are suffering from some physical problem or the other. While the head of the family Navjot Singh (Paresh Rawal) is suffering from amnesia, his elder son Yuvraj Singh (Sharman Joshi) is a victim of deafness.

Younger son Harbhajan Singh (Abhishek Banerjee) stammers while talking, while daughter-in-law Billo (Divya Dutta) makes strange use of idioms. Paro (Mrinal Thakur), the youngest daughter of the family, suffers from night blindness.

The whole family is worried about his marriage. Paro falls in love with a boy named Rohit Patel (Abhimanyu Dassani), who himself suffers from a similar strange problem. How Paro’s family scams her for her marriage. Are they exposed? This is the storyline of the film.

This film has been released today i.e. on 3rd November. A wide star cast has been seen in the film.

How is the acting of the star cast?
The starcast of the film is big. Experienced actors like Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raj, Sharman Joshi and Divya Dutta have been seen acting very loudly at many places. Mrinal and Abhimanyu have also not been able to do much. Overall, it can be said that a good amount of casting has been wasted. Even comedy stalwarts like Paresh Rawal and Sharman Joshi have failed to save the film.

What kind of direction is the film?
The film has been directed by director Umesh Shukla, who has made films like OMG and 102-Not Out. This time Umesh has not lived up to the expectations. The tone of the film seems old, because the film was stuck due to Covid.

The story appears to be meaningless from beginning to end. From the screenplay, dialogues to cinematography and music, nothing is impressive. Some scenes are filled with unnecessary laughs. Emotions have also not been shown properly.

The film stars Mrunal Thakur and Bhagya Shree’s son Abhimanyu Dassani in the lead roles.

How is the music of the film?
If we talk about the music of the film, the songs composed by Sachin-Jigar do not make any impact at all.

Final Verdict of the film: Watch it or not?
If you have nothing to do this week and want to watch a comedy film which has no logic. If you want to check your patience, you can watch this film once.
