According to the information, the accident took place between Amargarh to Panchpipliya in Jhabua district of Madhya Pradesh today at around quarter to seven in the morning. Here the engine and one coach of Darshan Express going from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Miraj Junction has derailed. It is fortunate that no one was injured in this accident.
It is being speculated that due to heavy rains, the Delhi-Mumbai railway track was flooded and small stones from the hill fell on the railway track, due to which this incident occurred. On getting information about the incident, Ratlam division officials reached the spot with the relief train.
Railway PRO Khemraj Meena has confirmed this incident. Delhi-Mumbai railway track is almost closed. Efforts are being made to open the track. Many important trains are standing at nearby stations. Relief teams are trying to get the track started soon.
Officers arrived for restoration
Giving information, the railway official said that the coach and engine of train number 12494 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Miraj Express derailed in Ratlam and Dahod section of Ratlam division. As soon as the information was received, Ratlam division officials reached the site for restoration. There has been no loss of life. Refreshment arrangements have been made and work related to train operation is going on.
