He told that Vande Metro will make several trips between the two cities.

The Railway Minister said that the three concepts – Vande Bharat Chair Car for medium distance, Vande Bharat Sleeper for long distance and Vande Metro for short distance – together are going to bring huge changes in the railways in the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has special focus on this. He also told about a new type of locomotive pushpull in the INDIA TV election platform program itself. In the times to come, this locomotive will play a vital role in the existing 60,000 coaches. This is a new type of engine. This push pull locomotive will be revealed soon.

Every week a Vande Bharat Express train comes out
Ashwini Vaishnaw told that at present, every week one Vande Bharat Express train is coming out of the factory. Vande Bharat Express train is a new technology train. 22000 trains run in the country. There is approval for about 450 Vande Bharat Express in the budget. The Union Minister said that Madhya Pradesh has received the maximum number of Vande Bharat trains.

Vande Bharat train has traveled 154 times around the world
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that till now the Vande Bharat Express train has traveled equivalent to 154 circumambulation of the whole world. A total of more than 62 lakh kilometers have been covered. He said that in today’s time, Vande Bharat Express Trains is a completely proven train. This train is running in the country since 2019.
