Asia Cup 2023: Know what will happen if India vs Nepal match is canceled due to rain

Sports Desk: India’s second match in Asia Cup will be played with Nepal at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium at 3 pm today. According to the weather forecast, the chances of rain are more than 60 percent. Earlier, the match played between India and Pakistan on September 2 was also washed away in the rain. In such a situation, what will happen if the India-Nepal match gets rained on.

What if the match is cancelled?

India and Nepal will share one point each if their Asia Cup 2023 match at Pallekele on Monday gets washed out. Thus India will qualify for the Super Four stage along with Pakistan while Nepal will be out of the tournament.


There is a 60% chance of rain in the morning and it will reduce to 22% at the time of the toss. This may sound encouraging, but by the evening the chances of rain returning have increased to 66%. India are keen on a full match to test the form and fitness of players returning from injury.
