State Bureau, Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the dinner hosted by President Draupadi Murmu on the occasion of G-20 is being discussed in the political circles as an experiment and not a coincidence. This initiative has been given further impetus by Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s changed tone towards Nitish Kumar during his visit to Bihar.

The manner in which Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and especially the JDU ministers included in the grand alliance government are being welcomed is in itself enough for a new political signal.

Shah’s measured words on Nitish

The important thing is that after Home Minister Amit Shah’s two meetings in Bihar on September 16, the tone of BJP leaders has also changed towards Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Let it be known that in the last one year i.e. after September-2022, Amit Shah did not shy away from saying in six public meetings that the doors of BJP (NDA) are closed forever for Nitish Kumar. This time Amit Shah did not say these things from the stage. Nitish Kumar was not even targeted directly.

JDU also has soft attitude

A similar signal is being seen from JDU’s side towards BJP also. The manner in which Jaduy quota minister Ashok Chaudhary, who is part of the Grand Alliance government, praised the Central Government and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for the Women’s Reservation Bill in his statement on September 19 is also noteworthy.

Not only this, the very next day i.e. on 20th September, the manner in which Information and Public Relations Minister Sanjay Jha praised the Women’s Reservation Bill through Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is an important message in itself.

It is also worth noting that whether it is Bihar BJP President Samrat Chaudhary or BJP Legislative Party leader Vijay Sinha, the tone of the party’s spokespersons has also changed towards Nitish Kumar and JDU.

Also read: Bihar Congress called women’s reservation an election stunt, said- BJP is desperate to win the elections by any means due to fear of India.

Nitish’s tone looks different from INDIA stand

Nitish Kumar is seen standing with BJP on political issues. It is worth noting here that INDIA, the new alliance of opposition unity, released a list of 14 journalists and blacklisted them for taking sides of BJP.

At the same time, Nitish Kumar was seen standing with the journalists. Even Nitish expressed his opinion directly different from the INDIA alliance.

While not directly commenting on the list of journalists released by the Congress, he said that he is with the journalists. He is not in favor of blacklisting any journalist.
