According to the report of South China Morning Post, Wang Yi has gone to Russia on a four-day visit. His visit also becomes special because Russian President Vladimir Putin may visit China next month.
According to the South China Morning Post report, China’s Foreign Ministry announced on Monday that Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will stay in Russia till Thursday for the annual strategic security consultation meetings. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said that Russian Foreign Minister will meet Sergei Lavrov. After which there will be an in-depth discussion on some important topics between both the sides. Mao said that during this period Ukraine war would be the main issue of negotiation. Apart from this he will discuss the expansion of NATO forces and infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region.
Strategic security consultation will be discussed
According to the Chinese ministry, the visit is taking place at the invitation of Russia’s Security Council chief Nikolai Patrushev, who is co-chairman of the bilateral strategic security consultation mechanism. Let us tell you that Russian President Vladimir Putin will be in the Chinese capital next month for the third Belt and Road Initiative. Will attend the Road Summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping. This will be Putin’s first visit to China after the invasion of Ukraine.
Kim Jong Un also reached Russia
