Delhi Excise Policy: MP Sanjay Singh’s remand extended for three days, ED said – AAP leaders are not cooperating
ANI, New Delhi. Rajya Sabha MP from Aam Aadmi Party Sanjay Singh was produced in Rouse Avenue Court after the completion of ED’s remand on Tuesday in the money laundering case related to the alleged scam in the new excise policy of Delhi government. During the hearing, the court has extended the custody of Sanjay Singh for three days.
AAP leaders are not cooperating in the investigation
The ED had asked the court to extend the custody of AAP leader Sanjay Singh citing his non-cooperation in the investigation. At the same time, ED said that Sanjay Singh’s associate Sarvesh Mishra is also not cooperating in the investigation.
Honest people are with us- Sanjay Singh
While going to appear in the court, AAP leader Sanjay has attacked BJP. He said that honest people are with us and dishonest people are with PM Modi.
Do not talk to media during appearance – Court
The court directed AAP MP Sanjay Singh, arrested in a money laundering case, not to talk to the media during his appearance, saying it creates a security problem. Along with this, the judge also instructed the media persons not to ask him questions when he (Sanjay) was being brought for appearance.
Police detained AAP workers
At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party workers are protesting before the appearance of Sanjay Singh in Rouse Avenue Court. This protest is being organized by AAP workers against the ED raid at the house of AAP MLAs Amanatullah Khan and Sanjay Singh. During this time, seeing the protesters becoming aggressive, the police detained many of them. These people were trying to march from AAP office to BJP headquarters on DDU Marg.
Let us tell you that ED had arrested Sanjay Singh on October 4 in the excise policy case. After this, the AAP leader was produced in the court for questioning and taken on remand for five days.

Liquor scam is false: AAP
AAP leaders, including Kejriwal, have strongly denied the allegations and claimed that the cases registered by the investigating agencies are false. Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and AAP’s Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh are currently in jail in a money-laundering case related to alleged irregularities in the implementation of the defunct excise policy.
