Amazon Prime Video has announced the global premiere of the comedy drama ‘Kumari Shrimati’ on September 28. In this seven-episode series, ‘Nithya Menen’ is playing the role of Mrs., while Nirupam, Gautami, Thiruveer, Talluri Rameshwari, Naresh, and Murali Mohan will also be seen in lead roles. Based in a village in East Godavari, this web series humorously presents the difficulties faced in the life of a 30-year-old woman (played by Nithya Menen) who lives in a small village filled with age-old ideas. Challenges the well-worn customs of the city.

Produced by Early Monsoon Tales, the web division of Vyjayanti Entertainments, which spans a legacy of 50 years, the series is directed by Gomatesh Upadhyay and is now streaming on the audience’s favorite streaming service in India as well as in 240 countries across the world. Apart from Telugu, it will exclusively premiere in dubbed versions in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam in other regions. ‘Kumari Shrimati’ is the newest series included in the Prime membership.
