Loco Pilot Presence Of Mind Saved Udaipur-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express From A Major Accident – Conspiracy to derail Udaipur-Jaipur Vande Bharat train, stones and bars were laid on the track
Miscreants tried to derail the Udaipur-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express train running on the Udaipur to Jaipur route in Rajasthan. However, due to the wisdom of the Lok Pilot, a major accident was averted. Actually, Vande Bharat train left Udaipur at 7.50 am and reached Chittorgarh. Left for Bhilwara from Chittorgarh at around 9.30. Meanwhile, on the way between Soniana and Gangrar railway station, the loco pilot suspected some disturbance in the tracks. Loco pilot stopped the train. When I got down from the train, I saw that about 50 feet of the track was covered with pieces of stones and rods.
The loco pilot informed the authorities about this. After this, all the railway officials along with the police reached the spot. Initial investigation revealed that some mischievous people living in the area had committed this act. Railway police is investigating the matter.
What did the Railways say?
Railway Public Relations Officer (PRO) Shahi Kiran said, “There were two sticks of one feet long on the track. The loco pilot showed wisdom. He not only removed all the debris but also ensured that the entire route was cleared.” “They also informed the control room. After this, teams of Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) were sent to the spot.”

Udaipur-Jaipur Vande Bharat train was recently flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 24 September. Along with this, 9 Vande Bharat trains of the country were given early delivery. Vande Bharat train leaves at its scheduled time in the morning throughout the week except Tuesday and reaches Jaipur by afternoon.

Vande Bharat train covers the distance of 435 kilometers in 6 hours 15 minutes. Before its launch, other trains on this route used to take seven hours.
This is the second incident in 8 days
This is the second incident in 8 days with Vande Bharat train running from Udaipur to Jaipur. A few days ago, a youth had broken the glass on the train by throwing stones at it. The incident took place near Mewar College in Gangrar (Bhilwara).
