New Parliament Gifts For MPs: The old Parliament, which has preserved the history of the country’s 75 years of parliamentary journey, will be bid goodbye today on Tuesday (September 19). The entry of MPs into the new Parliament will be at 11:00 am, welcomed by PM Narendra Modi. To make this special day memorable, special gifts will be given to the members of both the Houses of Parliament, Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha.

The gift includes a copy of the Constitution, a silver coin of Rs 75 and a booklet with the stamp of the new Parliament. Besides, it will also contain many other gifts including the seal of the Parliament House.

Special event in Central Hall

PM Modi will reach the Central Hall of Parliament at 11 am. The PM will be accompanied by senior ministers and MPs from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. During this time, there will be a program in the Central Hall in which a pledge will be taken to make India a prosperous nation by 2047. The PM will take the copy of the Constitution from the Central Hall and walk to the new building. All MPs will follow PM Modi.

After entry into the new Parliament, there is to be a formal puja which may take at least one and a half hour. After this, the proceedings will start in the new Parliament House at exactly 1.30 pm. Whereas the proceedings of Rajya Sabha will start from 2:15 pm.

PM Modi inaugurated on 28th May

PM Narendra Modi inaugurated the new Parliament building on 28 May this year. The special session of Parliament has started from September 18. On the first day, proceedings took place in the old Parliament House. Now the proceedings will be held in the new building from today (September 19). Regular parliamentary work will start in the new building tomorrow, i.e. Wednesday, 20th September, which will continue till 22nd September.

In the Union Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, the bill related to 33 percent reservation for women in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies was approved. If sources are to be believed, the government can present the bill related to women’s reservation in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday in the new Parliament House of the country.
