No change in Nawaz Sharif's return plan, will reach Pakistan on October 21: Shahbaz

London, 23 September (Hindustan Reporter). Former Prime Minister of Pakistan and President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif on Friday clarified that there is no change in the plans of party chief Nawaz Sharif to return home. He will reach Pakistan only on 21st October. Shahbaz gave this information in a press conference here. Both Maryam and Shahbaz reached London late on Thursday night. Shahbaz will discuss legal and political steps with his brother. This information has been given in local media reports.

Media reports said former Prime Minister Shehbaz spoke to the media after important talks at Stanhope House here in the presence of Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz, Ishaq Dar, Talal Choudhary and others. Shehbaz clarified that Nawaz Sharif will return to Lahore and then address the nation through a rally at Minar-e-Pakistan. He will present before the country the party’s plan to tackle poverty, unemployment and improve the economic condition. Shahbaz said that Nawaz Sharif is a leader who earlier also took Pakistan on the path of progress and hope and worked for the people. He will do this in future also. Nawaz Sharif is a ‘ray of hope’ for the country.

Media reports have quoted Shehbaz as saying that Imran Khan taught obscenity to Pakistan. Nawaz will end this poison. The youth will be educated and given employment. It is sad that ‘poison’ has been mixed in the national discourse of Pakistan. The culture of obscenity was taken to unprecedented levels. Pakistan has suffered loss due to this.

In the press conference, Shahbaz said that the need of the hour is to bring Pakistan together and move forward. Rome was not built in a day. Nawaz Sharif never made exaggerated promises. Has always fulfilled his promises. Meanwhile, Maryam Nawaz has said that her father will reach Lahore about a month from now. He will be given a historic welcome there.
