Parliament Special Session 2023 Day 2 Live Updates: Today i.e. 19th September is the second day of the special session of Parliament. From today, Parliament proceedings will be held in the New Parliament Building. Today a farewell ceremony was organized in the Central Hall of the new building. Before this a photo session is being done. At 11 am, the ceremony will remember the rich heritage of the Indian Parliament and pledge to make India a developed nation by 2047. For this function, there will be a meeting of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha MPs in the Central Hall. Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, PM Modi and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla will lead the function. Three special Members of Parliament will present their views in this program. On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, a puja will be organized before entering the new Parliament House. After this the proceedings of the House will start here.

ANI, quoting sources, has said that the Women’s Reservation Bill will be presented in the Lok Sabha today. Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal will present the bill. There will be a discussion tomorrow on 20th September to pass this bill in the House. The bill will be presented in the Rajya Sabha on September 21.

The farewell ceremony is going on in the old Parliament House. All the MPs have gathered in the Central Hall for this program in the evening. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi is addressing the function. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi delivered the welcome address at the function in the Central Hall.
All the MPs and leaders of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha gathered with PM Modi for the photo session going on in the old building of Parliament. Along with this, many leaders including Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh participated in the photo session.

On the Women’s Reservation Bill, Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary said, we want the Women’s Reservation Bill to be brought and passed as soon as possible. The Women’s Reservation Bill was initiated by UPA and especially Sonia Gandhi. It took so much time, but we would be happy if it is presented.

Parliament Session Live: Today i.e. Tuesday, the proceedings of the Lok Sabha will begin at 1:15 pm and the proceedings of the Rajya Sabha will begin at 2:15 pm in the New Parliament Building.
Today a special program will start from 11 am in the Central Hall of the New Parliament House. This program will run from 11 am to 12:35 pm. In which a resolution will be taken to make India a developed country by 2047. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Congress leader in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge will address the program in the Central Hall.
