Parliament Session: The special session of Parliament started from Monday. Members participated in both the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha houses. Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge started his speech with a poem. You are proud of your rule, what is the point of threatening people?
Demand for restoration of membership of Sanjay Singh and Raghav Chaddha
Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Kharge said that when Jawaharlal Nehru was the Prime Minister of the country, the foundation of the country was being laid. And the stones that lie in the foundation are not visible, what is written on the wall is visible only there. He told Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar that you are very kind-hearted. I request you to recall Sanjay Singh and Raghav Chaddha. All the great leaders have been a part of this House. Be it rich or poor, everyone has the same vote.
What did Kharge say when called ‘Indi’?

On this, Kharge said in Rajya Sabha that whether you call India or something else, we are India. Changing the name doesn’t do anything.
Congress President gave account of 70 years
Kharge said that among the seven members who drafted the Constitution, the most important role was played by Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. A person worked to strengthen the Constitution, to strengthen the country. All this happened during the Congress government. We have earned it through hard work, we do not want to lose it. He said that many people thought that India was a thumb impression country. We are repeatedly asked what we have done in the last 70 years. We strengthened democracy in 70 years. If you don’t have anything to say then just say this.
Said this on the government’s displeasure with the opposition
The opposition has been continuously alleging that the government is ignoring it. This time Kharge said these things in the House also. The Congress President said that the transfer of power in our country did not happen by force. The freedom that Gandhiji achieved was based on non-violence. The face of this country has changed during the 75 years in this building. Nehru ji used to take everyone along. He included people from the opposition in his first cabinet. You don’t even want to see our shadow.
Kharge got angry at Nehru’s insult
The Congress President said that many things are said about Nehru. The person who spent 14 years in jail for the independence of the country. After gaining power, big factories should have been set up in the country. The leader of the opposition has been made a minister. Objectionable things are said about him. Kharge said that Nehru respected the Parliament. He used to listen carefully to the opposition leaders. Now some people do not come to Parliament at all. It’s been a long time since I saw him.
Efforts are being made to weaken the strong opposition
Kharge said that Nehru believed that the absence of a strong opposition meant that there were significant shortcomings in the system. If there is no strong opposition then it is not right. Now, when there is a strong opposition, efforts are being made to weaken it through ED, CBI. He said that efforts are made to bring opposition leaders into his party. They are put in the washing machine to be cleaned and then as soon as they are cleaned, they are taken to our party. You can see what is happening today. The PM rarely comes to Parliament and when he comes, he turns it into an event and leaves.
Manipur issue echoed in Rajya Sabha
The government is being continuously cornered by the opposition on the issue of Manipur. The Congress President once again cornered the government on this issue. He said that the Prime Minister visits every area of the country but why does he not go to Manipur. He said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji gave statements 21 times. Manmohan Singh gave statement 30 times. Our Prime Minister Modi gave statements only twice except the custom statements.
