Parliament Special Session Jagdeep Dhankhar And Mallikarjun Kharge Debate

Parliament Special Session: On Monday (18 September), the first day of the special session, there was a heated debate in the Rajya Sabha between Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. When Mallikarjun Kharge was complaining about freedom of speech in the House, Chairman Dhankhar interrupted him and asked whether Kharge would attack him today. Jagdeep Dhankhar asked what must have happened to him when Kharge said that he was not given a chance to speak in the House. During this, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh also spoke and Chairman Dhankhar also classed him. The Chairman also told Kharge that whenever there was a debate on any issue, you walked out.

The first day of the special session has been held in the old Parliament itself and proceedings will start in the new Parliament from 19th September i.e. Ganesh Chaturthi. Today his journey of 75 years was discussed in the old Parliament. During the Rajya Sabha proceedings, Mallikarjun Kharge told Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, ‘There should be freedom of speech in Parliament. You give big punishment for my small mistake, but forgive their mistakes.

Jairam Ramesh’s class was also held
On this, Chairman Dhankhar interrupted Mallikarjun Kharge and said, ‘Today you seem completely lost. You did not even talk about the issues. Is your attack only on me today? For how long will we continue to justify the disturbance? What must have happened to me when you said you did not allow me to speak? Just then, Jairam Ramesh interrupted and said, ‘You are commenting on his speech. You let him finish his speech.

Chairman took taunt even on Kharge’s thanks
Jagdeep Dhankhar scolded and said, ‘Rajya Sabha is run by me, if you have something to say then come and sit on this chair.’ On this Jairam Ramesh said that he does not have to come on the chair. Jagdeep Dhankhar told Mallikarjun Kharge that whenever there has been a debate on any issue, you have walked out. After his speech, when Kharge said thanks, Jagdeep Dhankhar taunted and said, come on, you did say thanks.
