Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar will hoist the national flag at the new Parliament House today. Lok Sabha Secretariat said that Dhankhar will hoist the flag above the Gaj gate of the new Parliament building. On this occasion, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, Union Ministers of State for Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal and V Muraleedharan and leaders of various parties in Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha will also be present.

Mallikarjuna got angry

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge was also sent an invitation to attend the program but he is upset and will not attend the flag hoisting ceremony. Mallikarjun Kharge alleged that he received the invitation quite late. Kharge has also expressed his displeasure by writing a letter to Rajya Sabha General Secretary PC Modi.
