Hours later, a photo of the two leaders together went viral on social media, leading to rumors about the political implications of the meeting. Only Vasundhara Raje and Ashok Gehlot were shown in this picture, however, Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Dr CP Joshi and Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore were also included in it.

Elections are to be held at the end of this year
Elections for the 200-seat Rajasthan Assembly are to be held later this year, in which the BJP wants to oust the Congress from power. She wants to take advantage of the dispute between Gehlot and Sachin Pilot. Whereas Congress wants to retain the chair.
BJP has not announced the candidates
BJP has not yet announced its candidates for the state elections. Not only this, he has not even told his strategy yet. However, according to reports, the party is counting on the joint leadership of leaders including Raje, Rathore, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Satish Poonia to take on the ruling Congress. All four leaders are being given equal importance in the party’s election campaign in the state including the recently concluded Parivartan Yatra.
Everything is not going well inside BJP
However, there is talk that Vasundhara Raje is angry with the party these days. Raje’s absence in the last phase of Parivartan Yatra on Friday (22 September 2023) gave further strength to this discussion. Actually, Raje was not present in the program during the Parivartan Yatra that reached Hadoti area. Hadoti area includes Kota, Bundi and Jhalawar. In such a situation, speculations regarding his future in BJP have intensified. Kota is considered a BJP stronghold, and the disappointing end to the BJP’s Parivartan Yatra has indicated that all is not well within the party.
