Ramesh Bidhuri Objectionable Remarks Lok Sabha Chairman Om Birla Saidto Parliament Secretary Collect All The Evidences
Ramesh Bidhuri Objectionable Remark: Preparations for action have begun in the case of BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri’s indecent remarks against Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) MP Danish Ali in the Lok Sabha. Sources associated with ABP News have told that Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has given special instructions to the Lok Sabha Secretariat in this regard. On the last day of the session, during the discussion on the success of Chandrayaan-3, when this controversy took place, it has been asked to collect all the evidence of that time.
Birla has ordered that during the proceedings of the House, when the discussion on Chandrayaan-3 started, all the records of that time should be collected and presented before him. It has also been asked to include video footage, records of the Lok Sabha and letters given by other members of the House.
It is also learned that after properly looking at all the facts presented in this case and after thorough investigation, the Speaker of the Lok Sabha can send it to the Ethics Committee. The Ethics Committee takes necessary decisions in case of violation of special rights against MPs. This may increase the problems of Ramesh Bidhuri.
MP Danish also accused of abusing
However, in this case, MP Danish Ali has also been accused of using abusive words. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has also claimed that when the discussion on Chandrayaan-3 was going on, MP Danish Ali had used abusive words against PM Modi. Ali also called the PM “despicable”. Dubey has also taken a letter to Om Birla demanding investigation against Danish Ali and sending the matter to the Ethics Committee.
Here, Adhir Ranjan Choudhary of Congress, Supriya Sule of NCP and Danish Ali of BSP have written a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker requesting for investigation in this matter.
What is Ethics Committee?
The Ethics Committee has the right to investigate the indecent conduct of MPs or atrocities against them and recommend action. According to the Lok Sabha website, there are a total of 15 members in the Ethics Committee, in which party leaders get a place on the basis of their numbers in the House.
