There may be changes in the 16-member squad of Team India
Actually, Ajit Agarkar had announced the 15-member squad of Team India for Asia Cup 2023 on August 21. Injured Shreyas Iyer was also given a chance in the Indian squad. Although he was given a chance against Pakistan, he could not do anything special but he got injured before the match against Sri Lanka and was unable to play the match. Now it seems that Shreyas Iyer may return home due to injury and Sanju Samson may enter in his place.

Sanju Sassaman was also included in the team as a backup wicketkeeper batsman for Asia Cup 2023. Although Sanju had returned to India after the return of KL Rahul, but now it seems that he can be included in the team in place of Shreyas Iyer.
