During this visit he said that his steel plant will be completed in five to six months. Addressing the ‘Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) in Madrid, he told about his entry into the business sector and the roadman of the business.
The plant will start functioning in a year
Sourav Ganguly said that I thank the Chief Minister, because we are starting the third steel plant in Bengal. Many of us believe that I have only played cricket, but we had started a small steel plant in 2007 and after five to six months we will complete our new steel plant in Medinipur. Along with this, he said that there is full hope that this plant will become operational within the next one year.
Ganguly belongs to a business family
Former BCCI Chairman Saurabh Ganguly said during his address that his family is a business family, even though they have always been associated with sports. According to Ganguly, my grandfather had started a small business in Bengal 50-55 years ago, at that time he had received full support from the state government.
