Sunny Deol will be seen on the couch with his brother Bobby Deol in the second episode of Karan Johar’s show Koffee with Karan 8. During this, both the brothers answered many questions related to their personal and professional life.
In the episode, Deol brothers also talked about the bad phase of their career. Also told how he made a comeback in Bollywood.
Sunny and Bobby are returning to Koffee with Karan after 18 years.
The real struggle started after the success of Gadar.
On this occasion, Sunny talked about his superhit film ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ released in 2001. He said that after the success of this film the real struggle of his life started.
Sunny said, ‘Gadar proved to be a huge hit after its release but my struggle actually started after that. Earlier, I did not know that such a difficult period would come because at that time I was doing films back-to-back.
I was not getting scripts of my choice: Sunny
Sunny further said, ‘The struggle was such that I was not getting work with the directors with whom I wanted to work, nor was I getting the good scripts that I wanted.
Everyone was giving me advice. People were saying that I should leave senior directors and work with young directors. Everyone was suggesting something but in the end we had to take the decision.

Bobby said that Salman inspired him in bad times
In the episode, Sunny’s brother Bobby Deol also talked about the low face of his career. Bobby said that when he did not have work, he became depressed. In such a situation, Salman Khan inspired him and he made a comeback in Bollywood with films like ‘Race-3’ and ‘Housefull 4’.
Bobby told, ‘One day Salman told me that when my career was not going well, I had climbed on your brother’s back and moved ahead. So I told him to carry me on his back…’
Bobby made a comeback in Bollywood after 5 years with Salman Khan starrer Race 3, released in 2018.
Also talked about father’s kissing scene
Apart from this, in this episode both the brothers also talked about the famous kissing scene of father Dharmendra. Talking about this, Sunny said, ‘Papa can do whatever he wants and can also get away with it.’ Dharmendra had given a kissing scene in Karan Johar’s recently released film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’.

Deol Brothers have returned to Karan’s show after 18 years. Before this, he was seen in the first season of Koffee with Karan in 2005. Even then Sunny had joined with brother Bobby Deol.
Sunny Deol’s next film will be made under the banner of Aamir Khan and under the direction of Rajkumar Santoshi.
Will start work on ‘Lahore 1947’ soon
On the work front, Sunny is soon going to start work on a film under the banner of Aamir Khan. The name of this film is ‘Lahore 1947’ and it will be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. Apart from this, Sunny may soon start working on some more films including Border-2.
