Two South Indian films remain on top in the list of Top 10 Indian films of Netflix, whereas these films did not get much response at the box office.
Bhola Shankar: South’s Bhola Shankar film directed by Mehar Ramesh has South’s superstars Chiranjeevi, Tamannaah Bhatia, Keerthy Suresh, Sushant in the lead roles. Bhola Shankar’s budget was Rs 101 crore but it could earn only Rs 42 crore at the box office. Chiranjeevi has done a lot of action in this film but despite being a megastar, he could not attract the audience to the theatres.
Rambanam: After Bhola Shankar, Rambanam comes on the OTT platform Netflix. This Telugu film is directed by Srivas. Whereas in this film Gopichand, Dimple Hayati, Jagapati Babu are in lead roles. Made at a cost of Rs 25 crore, this film could earn only Rs 8 crore at the box office. Now both these South films are making waves on OTT after failing at the box office.
