In Bahadurgarh Kotwali area of Hapur district, when a 21-year-old unmarried girl became pregnant, her mother and brother took her to the forest, sprinkled petrol on her and set her on fire. An attempt was made to take his life by burning him alive. Hearing the screams of the girl, people working in the nearby forest reached there. By then the girl was 70 percent burnt. The condition of the girl is critical.
As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. Seeing the serious condition of the girl, she was referred to the hospital in Meerut. He is undergoing treatment there.

In this case, ASP Rajkumar of Hapur said, in village Nawada Khod of Bahadurgarh police station area, a girl was burnt by her family members by pouring petrol on her. On information, the police referred the girl to a higher centre. Her brother and mother had received information about her illicit relationship with a young man. At present, the mother and brother have been detained in this entire matter and are being interrogated.
