Sumerpur. Torrential rains continued with strong winds in the Jawai Dam water catchment area, two gates of Jawai Dam were raised by 3 feet each and the third gate, gate number 4 four, was also opened by one foot.

Takhatgarh 16 September; (Mewada in Khimara) After the rain of Bunda Bundi, which was crying intermittently for the last 2 days, on Saturday, monsoon became active again in Akash rural areas including Sumerpur subdivision and Takhatgarh Municipality area including Jawai Dam water catchment area. And due to heavy rains in Jawai Dam catchment area, both Gate No. 2 and Gate No. 10 of Jawai Dam have been reopened by the Water Resources Department till 3 pm. And now the third gate, two gates of Jawai Dam were increased by 3 feet each and the third gate, gate number 4 four was also opened by one foot.

After opening the gates three feet each, the villages situated on the banks of the river have been warned about the water flowing with full speed in the Jawai River.
