What complaint did Baba Siddiqui have with Congress, he said – My son Zeeshan is also being harassed.
After leaving Congress, famous Maharashtra Congress leader and former minister Baba Siddiqui has joined Ajit Pawar’s NCP. In this regard, he said that I have had a relationship with Congress for 48 years. A lot was happening to me lately. Was not getting respect in the party. Therefore it was very difficult to take this relationship further. Thought about all this and now after several days of discussion with Ajit Pawar and Praful Patel, today I have joined Ajit Pawar’s NCP. He said that now I belong to NCP and will work for the party with all my heart.
What did Baba Siddiqui say?
He said that those who are raising questions on my joining NCP and NDA. First he should tell, when he took Shiv Sena along in MVA, where did his secular issue go? Ajit Pawar told the stage that he is good with NDA. But he has not abandoned the ideas of Maulana Azad, Phule, Ambedkar and Shahu. He said that I have full hope that he will stick to his words. My son Zeeshan is also being harassed. When the state party president is not listening to the MLA, then what should be said next. Due to the kind of trouble he is facing, it is possible that he too will join us soon.
What did Ajit Pawar say?
Praful Patel further said on this issue that we too had started our journey from Congress. Ajit Pawar, Sunil Tatkare have also been Congressmen. In the Lok Sabha elections from 2014 to 2019, Congress became so small that the MPs worthy of being the leader of the opposition did not win. Congress kept getting smaller. He said that there were differences between Shiv Sena and BJP and MVA government was formed. Ajit Pawar said in his speech that he had a discussion with Praful Patel and Sunil Tatkare regarding Baba Siddiqui. Everyone has seen what work he did while in power and in opposition. Didn’t give up secular ideology while staying with MVA. Recently I had to take steps to take Maharashtra and the party forward.
